Visiting with the Kiwis

Our flight schedule allowed a less than 24 hour stop in Auckland on the way from Sydney to Tahiti. We took the opportunity and stopped for a night and day to get a little taste of the city.

Sky Tower

You really can't miss the Sky Tower in this city. For the ones looking for an adrenaline rush they offer to let you "sky jump" off the tower. It's a bit like a controlled bungee jump and looks pretty crazy when you see people come flying down at you.

The city was clean, had nice character and the people were very friendly.

We were in New Zealand for such a short time and just in the city, so we can hardly say we visited. But we've heard such great things, so we definitely plan to go back and explore the land properly some day.
